Copenhagen 11/9 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Pretty cool can with a drawing of a wild-haired youngster with lightening flashes coming out of his eyes.
Pours hazy, opaque, golden yellow with a small, bubbly white head. The head disappears after a minute leaving only a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with sweet, fermented, exotic fruit, alcohol and lighter citric notes. Fermented mango and papaya. Orange and citrus with hints of decay. Fairly boozy for a ABV of 8,5.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, smooth, soft texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and fermented with a citric undercurrent. Finish is wet and boozy.
Fine DIPA with a strong presence of alcohol when I take the modest ABV into account. My eyes might not light up with lightening - but it is a decent drink.
