Can BB 2024-NO, so not sure which month
Pours a bubbly foamy off-white 1 finger head with moderate retention, fair lacing, clear but darker chestnut brown color
Nose starts with raw wort, toasted malts, molasses, a bit of earthy root like rootbeer, hints of fruits, a touch smoky, hot super fresh
Taste is a bit better, more toasted biscuity malt, raw wort, more of that rootbeer like earthy root spice, molasses and chicory like, with a tiny hint of smoke, hint of bitterness, a touch syrupy like, mild sticky sweet finish
Mouth is med bod, med carb
Overall not bad, this is more like what I'm used to for NA beers, some raw wort and slight unpleasant characters, not super flavorful like a few others I've had from them, but could be the age. I'll have to look for this fresh.

Clear, mahogany appearance with a small tan head and light lacing. Aroma is close to the Dunkel style; nothing fruity about it, toasty, some malt sweetness, some coffee. Flavor highlights the malts as well. Light sweetness, moderately nutty, low bitterness, to round things out. Softly carbonated, light bodied mouthfeel. Body seems to be the Achilles Heel of many N/A's when compared to their full strength cousins, so if that can be overlooked, this one is quite enjoyable.
