Black color with red highlights; practically with no head.
Aroma with notes of lots of dark chocolate, a bit of dark fruits and a distant pine.
Flavor with notes of pine, roasted malts, a bit of caramel, plum peel and coffee. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness. Definitely not at par to its 50 IBUs.
Light towards medium body with velvet carbonation.
Interesting that the nose felt like a dry stout while the mouth was more like a Black IPA. Still, hops have mellowed out, the focus was more on the roasted malts.
