Had this first on draft at a restaurant and loved it. Really like New England IPAs. Bought a 4-pack. Still very good

White tinted yellow color. Very cloudy, looks like a Belgian Pale Ale. Moderate but quickly dying head. Sustained rim bubbles. Some spots and streaks.
Biting, but aromatic, hop nose.
The flavor is even more biting and bitter than the smell suggests. I get a little yeast on the tongue as well. Thin bodied, moderate carbonation. Hop heads may like this but it may be too much of a good thing.

A NE Session IPA that is quaffable but NOT watered down. Retains all the great IPA characteristics but at 4.7% ABV.

Canned 1/09/18
Pours a nice fluffy bubbly 2 finger head that fades at a med pace, nice soapy lacing, very hazy golden tan color
Nose is nice, big bright hops, musty tropical fruits, passion fruit, pineapple, citrus, tangy earthy green fruits, lemony and mild white grape musty notes, no real malt
Taste more of the same, a musty white grape, citrus zest, pineapple, background passion fruit, citrus and melon as well, some lemon and grassy floral earthy green fruits, mild bitterness increasing to fair bitterness as it goes, mild fluffy malt, dry bitter finish.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice bright carbonation
Overall this was a nice session IPA, New England style I wouldn't really call it that at all, doesn't have the mouth/body creamy soft juicy feel, hops are more south Pacific style than juicy citrus tropical, but as a session IPA it was very nice.

From the 16 oz. can dated 1/3/18. Sampled on January 28, 2018 so it is less than four weeks old.
It pours a slightly cloudy looking pale yellow with a foamy, soapy white head up top that lingers.
The aroma emits a strong character of floral and pine hops and a lesser character of citrus zest. Also, a sweet, white bread malt sensation. Inviting.
The body is watery and light.
The bitterness in the flavor comes across as far bolder than you might expect for 35 IBUs. The bitterness has a floral, pine, and vague spicy note. Lingers. Hopheads should enjoy it.
