From a 16 fl. oz. can dated 10-26-21. Sampled on March 6, 2022.
The hazy appearance is not totally opaque but it is getting there. The color is amber-yellow under a big white head.
The aroma is passion fruit, tropical fruits apricots, and a lower profile oatmeal cereal grain.
Medium mouthfeel.
The taste really brings out those tropical fruit characteristics and the 7.7% ABV isn't notable. Lingering bitterness to finish.

From the brewer:
FOREST HAZE Double IPA is brewed with 2-row malt, wheat, and oats for a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Double dry hopped with Galaxy, Cryo Citra, and Cryo Simcoe hops for bold tastes and aromas of passion fruit, peach, stone fruit, and juicy orange citrus.
Large four-finger head. It recedes slowly and leaves thick streaks and extensive webs on the glass. The liquid is very cloudy, dirty gold color.
Strong "green" smells of weeds and fresh cut grass. Second whiff draws out minor berry fruitiness and alcohol.
Smooth start to the taste. The malt is soft and quickly set aside with the strength of the bitterness. As described by the brewer, the body is soft but not overly rich. The carbonation leans to the low side. The swallow starts with some plum but the bitterness overwhelms any subtlety. I note some alcohol in the very long aftertaste.
