Turning Violet is fermented with blueberry and Meyer lemon puree to produce bright flavors of blueberry lemonade and blueberry pastry. Pleasantly tart with a refreshing herbal citrus finish.

Pours a lovely, light blueberry color. I don't pick up much aroma from it, but I seldom do. Pours with a fluffy 2 inch head with a somewhat aggressive pour. Fades to nothing after a couple of minutes - no ring or lacing. Taste-wise, I get more of the lemon than the blueberry - it's tart, but not as sour as others I've tried. Mouthfeel is on the thin side. Overall a decent sour, but I've had others I liked better. Worth a try though.
