Eye of the Storm is inspired by the Hurricane cocktail created in New Orleans. Infused with passion fruit, Cara Cara orange, and key lime puree to produce big funky tastes and aromas of tropical fruit and citrus with a tart and refreshing finish.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed pinkish-peach color with a small head of fizzy foam. The head fades quite quickly, leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite heavy of a sour candy like smell, with notes of sour candy passionfruit, watermelon, peach and orange. Along with these aromas comes a big showing of a lime juice and strong notes of green apples and apple cider vinegar.
Taste – The taste begins with a sour passion fruit and melon like taste mixed with notes of sour berries and some sour cherry. There is also a strong showing of a tart green apple and some lime upfront, both of which grow stronger as the taste moves forward. Other flavors of a crack malt and a bit of breadiness join in as well, and with a surge of the sour, one is left with a nice tart and sour fruited taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the sour, tart, and fruity, the taste is quite well done, and makes for a crisp sipper.
Overall – A pretty decent sour with a good flavor and approachable, but somewhat intense sourness and tartness. Fur to try.
