Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades super quick leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a sweet caramel and toffee smell mixed with light notes of tropical fruits of mango and pineapple. Along with these comes some doughy and bready smells along with aromas of pine and a bit of grapefruit.
Taste – The taste begins with a cracker and doughy malt flavor mixed with some other flavors of a light pine and earthy hop. The caramel and toffee are present upfront, but not the tropical fruits. The latter develop over time and takes a slightly more pronounced role later in the taste profile. At the same time some graininess and a note of pepper develop as well, mixing with the rest of the tastes and leaving one with a moderately malty and sweet, lightly and more dankly hopped, but very approachable taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to slightly thicker for a 6.9 % abv brew with a carbonation level that is slightly lower.
Overall – A pretty easy drinking brew overall. Slightly more malty and lower hopped, but very approachable.

Poured from a 16 oz can; no known birth date... just a bunch of scribble on the bottom of the can. Pours pee yellow with one fingerish of present foamy head. Slightly sweet with good hop bitternes - not too overpowering - with the aforementioned spruce towards the end. Really good.
