On-draught @ the brewery. $2.50 USD for 5oz.
Crisp and clean with assertive carbonation that prevents it from feeling refreshing. Smooth and wet.
Hop profile is floral and a bit evergreen-redolent...not quite piney but certainly fresh and herbaceous as well as somewhat resinous.
Drinkable and enjoyable though it ultimately fails to hold a candle to the best expressions of the pale ale style. Less carbonation, a softer mouthfeel, and a more interesting hop profile as well as higher depth of flavour are needed for this to really stand out in an oversaturated style and market.
I'm impressed a brewery so new can brew this consistently and without faults, but there's ample room for improvement.
