From draft at Novare Res Bier Cafe in Portland Maine. From the Goodfire website: “ Our flagship IPA! This hazy IPA features a light malt backbone to showcase the hop players Citra & Amarillo. It finishes soft and mildly dry, making for an all-day kinda beer.”

Half pour at brewery. Hazy yellow pour with skin of white head. Light fruity aroma, touch of citrus. Taste is bready and a healthy helping of citrus zest. Still light on the palate with a pillowy mouth feel.

Pours a golden hazy, you could possibly call this murky, white head. Nose of mango and strawberry. It's got the right combination of orange, strawberry, and grapefruit for me. It's not just sweet and juicy, there's a little bit of bitter edge to it, but not in a hop burn way. I really enjoyed this one.

Two plus finger of bright white foam, fairly airy appearance but retention is good and leaves a thick ring of lacing behind. Fairly thick looking liquid, opaque, falls sort of apricot juice density, darkish yellow color. The nose is very narrowly focused and brawny, immediately inserts marijuana level dankness into your nostrils, tangerine to pink grapefruit citrus, a vague vanillin touch, some earthiness, delivers a medium does of melon, peach, apricot fruit, wouldn't consider it particularly tropical. Medium-bodied, no heaviness to it even though the carbonation is on the creamy side. A bit cleaner here with the dankness better woven in. This allows the citrus to set the tone early. Gets peppery, fresh tobacco and lesser pine tar too. Starts to become floral but to me doesn't really deliver. Same fruit array as in the nose with a wedge of mango. Very good drinkability if maybe too sweet to be refreshing. (Canned 3/23/22)

Cloudy, making the liquid look like apricot juice. Minor head which settles to rim bubbles. Some thicker streaks.

Tropical fruits with some weediness to the nose.

Mango and earthy, this fits the profile of a New England IPA. Fuller bodied with ample carbonation. Biting bitter finish. Long aftertaste.
