Yugen is a hazy IPA with a whole bunch of Simcoe, Strata, and El Dorado. The Simcoe really shines here with a massive burst of citrus, while drawing deeper, grounded tropicality from El Dorado and Strata. Yugen pours a cloudy neon orange with notes of peach rings, spiced orange rind, tangerine, and pear all twirling and swirling in the glass.

A: Pours a hazy golden orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a decent cap that leaves good lacing
S: Lots of citrus up front along with some tropical fruit and floral notes. Light earthy undertones in there as well
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of citrus and tropical fruit, followed by a mix of floral and earthy tones. Light bitterness. Finishes with lingering tropical fruit
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. On the soft side
O: A super solid IPA that really bangs with the simcoe and pulls nicely from the El Dorado and strata. Extremely easy to drink. Worth checking out

Excellent hop profile. However, the tastes aren’t strong- no prominent flavor- but lots of citrus. Excellent look- light cloudy yellow color in a Spielgelau IPA glass. Not very hoppy. Smooth.
Best at 45-48°.
