Pours a reddish-orange color. Cloudy but not overly so. Minimal and short-lived head.
Smells of fresh raspberry and cranberry. A little sweet brown sugar, slight amount of vanilla and just a touch of cinnamon.
Very nice flavor - raspberry leads followed by cranberry. There's a pleasant level of vanilla lending some sweetness to counterbalance the fruit tartness. There's just a bit of brown sugar. The cinnamon is mild but adds a little depth to the flavor and a bit of lingering heat with a slight earthiness. Mildly tart and I think it is mainly from the fruit.
The feel is a little more than light- like a diluted fruit juice. It's crisp and clean- the flavors do not linger but for a little cinnamon tingle and slight tartness.
Overall, this is a beer with balanced flavors that does not go overboard in any one aspect.
