This Floridan beer is made with Simcoe hops. I had it in Saint Augustine restaurant
And brewery is also in town. The beer tastes like a red ale with good hop citrus flavor of pineapple rind and brown molasses backbone. There is a bit of a hazy flavor which is great to have in a brown cedar flavored brew. I highly recommend it.

11/7/23 On tap at The Conch House in St. Augustine with Aunt Cathy, Uncle Bob and Gandmom.
Sweet and somewhat reminds me of a shandy in some ways. I'm wondering about why i detected do much sweetness from this. The other reviews and the brewer's notes mention a hoppy beer. I don't think the server gave me the wrong beer. It's a mystery.Interestingly darker copper color. Did not care for this one due to the sweetness factor.

Silt look copper amber color brew with healthy white foam on top. Lasting head that leaves lots of web and ring lacing.
Tropical fruit and berry mix over rich malt. Simcoe aromas all the way.
Pineapple and berries make for strong flavors. Lemon citrus on the finish.
Medium bodied and smooth drinking. Hop bitterness from the 70 ibu.

Opaque golden/orange color with a very persistent head and significant lacing. Malt/citrus aroma. Taste follows the aroma. Excellent full bodied very smooth mouthfeel. This is overall a solid IPA that any fan of the style will enjoy.
