Tap
Pours very dark but clear brown, white film for a head.
Smells of cocoa, peppers, caramel and toffee.
Flavor is of spicy pepper, biscuit, caramel and cocoa.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue. Spice burn throughout.
This is pretty great, good flavor and spice. AB's technique is to evolve their beers, so I look forward to the next version of this. There's room for improvement but it's a really good start for a pepper stout.
