500ml bottle from Conwy, Wales:
Opaque black with a quarter cm, foamy head that's tan brown & just about covers the surface before turning quite patchy. Chocolate malts & sugars open the nose, there's roasted malts & some coffee bitterness with a hint of sweetness at the end. The taste is similar with dark chocolate then dark, sweet malts & touches of earthy bitterness too but it's balanced, full-bodied & quite smooth with soft carbonation too.
