I had this on-tap in a big mug at the brewery's taproom in Etyek.
Appearance: rich orange hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of creamy ivory foam. Looks really good.
Smell: bready, caramelly malt with a dose of almost-lemony citrus hops. It's well composed.
Taste: rather malty, but not in a bad way. There's a nice rich breadiness here; earthy, citrusy hops complement the malt. Maybe I'd call this more of an English style IPA.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: on paper this kinda malty IPA is not usually my thing, but I'm finding this really working for me!

This was the best craft on the night out at the Legfelsőbb Beeróság in Budapest, HU, had a few good ones but this one was the most memorable. Why?
First, because of its most decent color and then its impressive aromas in the nose. They weren't that Americanized, though they claim to have used only Centennial, it reminded me of some old European Hops instead - but on the cobtrary was very good! Intensive hops in the smell and taste, from the first second you started to drink it to the last drop that you swallowed, had an intensive feeling, both in taste and smell.
Regardless of its various ingredients besides Centennial (maris otter, pale ale, vienna, crystal malts) it was something very Hungarian. This was the first one I had from the Etyeki Brewery but I have a feeling I will still have some more!
