Decent dark strong. Served on tap in a snifter. Dark brown/copper in color. Aromas of sweetness and spice. Flavor is full of malty goodness with candi sugar and warming spices.

Overall, I was fairly disappointed with this brew. I love Belgian quads, and I can tell that this is what this beer was supposed to be, but overall, it didn't perform well.
It was served to me in a large chalice at the brewery. It was a deep coppery-brown color, with a bit of a head left. The beer smelled like it'd be extremely sweet. Taking my first sip, I couldn't help but notice that it not only tasted syrupy, but felt that way, too. I'm not one for too much hops in my beer, but this one could have used some to balance out the cloyingly sweet character.
