Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has an OK level of retention, fading moderately fast to leave a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a yeasty biscuit malt aroma mixed with smells of clove and coriander. Along with these smells comes notes of apricot and peach as well as a little bit of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a somewhat malty biscuit and cracker malt heavy flavor that has notes of a light apricot fruitiness and some grapiness. Along with these tastes comes flavors of clove, coriander, and nutmeg with a little bit of yeast. As the taste advances it sweetens a bit all while the yeast and spice grow a bit stronger. Toward the end a light alcohol heat greets the tongue, and with the malt lessening a bit and the other flavor transitions, one is left with a somewhat malty and warming taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and heavier, with a carbonation level that is moderate. For the style a lighter body and higher carbonation would have likely been better, creating a more crisp brew overall.
Overall – An OK triple overall.

12oz can--on popping the top, it wants to foam out a bit, though not too much. Poured into my favorite New Belgium chalice glass, it's a good amber-gold color with a large head, though it fades quickly. The nose is mostly malt, very light fruitiness, but yeast notes are restrained. With the taste the yeast notes come through far more clearly: very fruity, moderately but not too phenolic. Malt is light here, and bitterness is restrained, at least for the strength. Full bodied, to say the least, but for the strength there's no alcohol hotness. This is a good sipping beer.

12oz can, purchased at the brewery in early JUL21 - opened 7-31-21 and not dated.
1+ finger white head with decent retention, steadily falls and then holds at a solid cap.
Soft gold with a chill haze and ample carbonation. A few dots of lacing.
Honey, a distinct menthol, and clove in the aroma.
Fruit (pear/apple), spice, and honey
Somewhere between light and medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a slight heat.
Medium length finish with a touch of sweetness.
Good to Very Good.

Amber-colored hazy beer with a thin, quickly disappating head, leaving behind little to no lacing. Aroma is slightly fruity, with just a hint of earthiness. Taste is sweet, with berries and spice balanced with just a hint of hoppy bitterness and a dry finish. Mouthfeel is a bit on the heavier side but not unpleasant, like having a sweater that smells of warm spices. Overall definitely would give this one a try if you see it - it's a well-rounded beer that, like most Belgian-style tripels, is approachable yet nuanced.

I drank this beer from my 1 liter Disneyland cup. For being a Tripel it was light and easy drinking, but still flavorful.

Look: yellow with a thick white head

Aroma: wheat, banana, clove

Taste: The flavor is malty/wheat, banana, clove, a slight grassy bitterness at the end, pretty mild

and light for a Tripel and no alcohol flavor.

Body/Overall: light to medium body

Medium gold color, 1 finger head, only available in growlers, cabonation is lower that expected, spice notes are subtle with hops bitter slightly stronger than the malt flavors.

1 finger creamy white head with dense small bubbles, smattering of larger bubbles. Looks like meringue. Reduces to thin cover of head. Nose is yeasty and the typical clove and banana. Feels slick, little brightness. Flavor is lighter than expected. Hides the 9.1 abv well. The tripel notes I thought would be stronger. That's the only thing I'm not digging. Everything else is solid with this beer. Packaging is great too. Matte black ceramic growler. Good job Pegasus!
