Looks appropriate to the style. Color is dark amber. Nice aroma, well balanced to the malts. Nice fluffy head forms from a strong pour, but dissipates very quickly, and goes away completely while drinking; could use a little more carbonation, personally, to help lighten it up a bit. Mouth feel might even be a little on the light side. Very faint notes of vanilla and cherry aftertaste. The closest thing I can compare this to is New Belgium Abbey, which is a little hoppier and slightly more complex. Nothing offensive at all, I just wish there was either more carbonation, hops, or a slightly heavier flavor.
Poured from a 750ml bottle into a tulip glass, ~50ºF.

A dark beer typical of the style that reminds one of a cola color. The half inch head dissipated quickly. Nice aroma of fruit, sweet raisin or dates. Taste is fruity like a mix of raisins and something I can’t put a finger on. It’s sweet and tasty. It has a thin mouthfeel but goes down easy and has a pleasant aftertaste. Overall this will be enjoyed by many beer drinkers and I would do another. On draft at Ron’s Corner Tavern Pint Night April 4, 2018, Thank you Desiree. Best wishes to you and Pegasus City.
