12 oz. can from the brewery. Pours a dark auburn brown with a thin layer of tan foam and spotty lacing.
Aroma is grainy, mild coffee notes when swirled.
Taste is bitter and feels astringent, roast malt has some coffee and dark chocolate qualities. Light bodied, a bit too thin and astringent for my taste. Besides that it's pretty drinkable with some nice roastiness. The clever name is probably the best thing about it.

On tap. Poured an opaque, jet black color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, toffee and caramel. Sweet chocolate taste with roasted malt, coffee and toffee.
