The Pink Boots Society promotes women brewers. We brewed this black IPA with the 2020 Pink Boots hop blend – a combo creating tropical & citrus flavors, and a piney aroma.

Dark and clear. Malty and roasty on the nose. Not too familiar with black IPAs..... not very common. To me this is a blend of an IPA a porter. Deep roasty flavor with a nice bitter bite. Ends with a good dryness. Good job on this one!

Pours very dark (but clear). Very roasty smell, not much IPA. Floral, with subtle IPA at first then turns roasty toasty. If you like dark beers but don't like IPAs, I suggest as a gateway. Black IPAs are my favorite style and this one is done just about perfect.
