To kick off our big beer SUMO SERIES : CHIKARA MIZU is our first Imperial Stout with Madagascar Vanilla Beans at 13.5% ABV. We brewed this beer with our good friend Derek Gallanosa from Moksa Brewing Company back in October when we first opened. “Chikara Mizu” in the Sumo Wrestling culture is Power Water - it is used by rikishi : sumo wrestlers to rinse their mouths before battle in the ring. It is customary and desired to be given Chikara Mizu by winning rikishi. We felt this name was symbolic of Derek imparting his world class stout knowledge and technique to this collaboration. We are stoked on the finished product and hope you will be too. Bottles will be available via purchase of a ticket to our grand opening event INU FEST.
