An exciting taste of a hard-to-get Hawaiian brewery. No canned on date.
Pours a slightly pale hazy gold. Typical hazy hue with bubbly white lace that settles quickly and doesn’t leave any lace retention behind.
The nose is a sweet combination of malt, citrus, and tropical fruit. I’m getting hints of rolled oats as well, and overall it’s really balanced.
A nice greeting of Simcoe Hops, full of present citrus but met right away with a hoppy, slightly floral character. It’s juicy, and finishes with grapefruit and citrus peel. I love the balanced combo of the sweet, tropical nose and floral, hoppy, citrusy flavors.
The body is very nice. Pillowy smooth, low effervescent carb, and a sticky finish.
