What an amazingly pleasant surprise from a small Hawaii brewery - haziness, aromas and flavors that are usually associated with larger breweries (from the New England area, too) came blasting out of this crowler. Freshly obtained straight from the brewery. Pours a truly beautiful hazy yellow color with abundant fluffy white head and a beautifully settling amount of soapy lingering lacing rings. Just outstanding. Smells great, fresh ripe tropical fruit - pineapple, mango, orange, lemon, passion fruit, guava and grapefruit notes in the foreground. Malt, creamy vanilla, bread, weaker floral notes and even some piney dank hints at the end. Taste follows the nose, extremely well balanced with the sweeter malt backbone in the background. Loved the bitter hit at the end, juicy beyond belief and the slightly higher ABV was well hidden. Smooth, sticky, slightly soft mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation.
