Picked up a 12 oz single from the Blue Door Bottleshop 9-1-22 for $3.50. No canning date; consumed 12-13-22. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured copper orange with a smallish white head.
Nose has noticeable light fruits.
Taste is a pilsner like malt base with yeast that produces apple and pear esters. Hop addition lends a nice balancing act for a finish that is an ester induced sweetness.
Mouthfeel is a tad heavier than what i would expect for the style, medium to heavy bodied and fairly smooth.
Overall totally dig what the brewing team elicited from the yeast, a fine brewing job that i would have again!

L: Had this beer on-tap at Basil, poured into a pint glass. Had a golden brown color and a somewhat hazy consistency. There was a 3/4", foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of malt, stone fruit, dark fruit, Belgian yeast, and a floral quality.
T: Tasted of a decent amount of dark fruit (raisins), some light Belgian yeast notes (kind of fleeting), a lot of cherry (not overly tart, though), a lot of malt (a big component), and some of the floral quality. A light and well-balanced flavor that grows on you. The fruit flavors gradually emerge the more you drink. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a vibrant finish. Medium-bodied.
O: In general, an interesting and well made beer. Worth a look.
