12 oz can with a 17 Sept. 2019 canning date stamp on the bottom, served in a Belgian snifter.
Look: Pours with a clear, dark mahogany colored body with a good, semi-durable tan head.
Flavor & Aroma: Moderately strong aroma and flavor. Sweet and simple compared to the best versions from Belgium, I suspect this may not rely solely on Belgian yeast. Nonetheless, it is tasty and very satisfying with a reasonably harmonious mix of flavors that prominently feature dark dried fruit notes.
Feel: Smooth, medium-full body with medium-light carbonation.
Overall: leaning to the sweet side but quite good: better than their also good Brugge City Brune. Improved with warming. Worth seeking out.
