Malty spicy rye bread aroma with notes of plums, toasty chocolate, and a lightly roasted coffee. The flavor mildly sweet with a firm balancing bitterness and bright fruity hop aroma. Quick dry fruity finish. Notes: Belgian-style Strong Ale brewed with Rye and Crystal hops grown in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Picked up a couple of singles at TW-Greenville SC 5/7 & 5/23/22 for $2.79 each. Canned 1/13/22; consumed 6/1/22.
Beer poured brown with a decent off-white head that has some pretty good hang time.
Nose has hints of tobacco and not much else.
Taste is a touch toasty with initials impressions of tobacco, get some chocolate as i sip along with some dark fruit.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing and smooth.
Overall not a bad beer. Either the yeast strain is not robust enough or the brewing process is not coaxing out more esters i would expect from this style. The toastiness is kind of different for the style too.
