Haust, "Autumn" in Icelandic, is our take on the traditional German-style Festbier.

Picked up a 12 oz single from the BlueDoor Bottleshop in Hendersonville 9-1-22 for $3.00. Canned in August, consumed 9-30-22.
Beer poured deep golden with a nice white head.
Nose is lightly toasted malts that come across with a honey sweetness.
Taste is toasted malts with honey that is balanced by noble hops leaving a crusty bread flavor. Finishes with adequate hopping to balance things out but with a touch of sweetness.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall a pretty nice Icelandic lager.
