This American IPA was brewed with a simple malt bill and tasteful combination of Simcoe, Galena, and Cascade hops to provide notes of grapefruit, papaya, and balsam.

Orange, burnt amber color. Appears to be cloudy. Moderate head that retains a thin film throughout the tasting. Some lace splotches remain on the glasss.
Semidry caramel aroma of deep roasted barley malt. subsequent whiffs brings forward a balancing floral hop and faint alcohol.
Notable alcohol warmth on the initial taste along with the predominantly dry toasted biscuit flavor. Full bodied with ample carbonation. The hop is apparent in the finish but subtle. This creates a balanced aftertaste. This beer seems to be a combination of the west coast style and the traditional English IPA. Interesting, familiar, and yet different.

The appearance was a semi-golden deep glossy bronzed color with a slim cap of a little white foamy head. Slid off fairly nice to leave some mild lace trying to coat the glass.
The aroma had a nicely blended array of earthy sweet pine, some grapefruit pith and some clingy citrus rind. Mild biscuity malts, very smooth.
The flavor yielded to the hops, bittersweet and noble. Malts barely seem there at all. Nice aftertaste of the hops, fully bittersweet.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Somewhat low carbonation with an appropriate ABV. Nice finish with the citrusy hops.
Overall, pretty nicely done New England styled IPA. I'd have again, good job, Dave.

On-tap at Worthy Burger, VT.
A- Draft to snifter with a slightly cloudy deep golden body and a massively thick creamy white crown. Greath head retention as a thick pillow stays atop the beer and lace blankets the whole glass.
S- Floral and citrus hops for the most part with some earthy, pine and stone fruit hints. Balanced out and not a ton of hugely distinct things here besides grapefruit, orange and apricot. A backing of base barley.
T- The stone fruit feel opens up a bit more here and balances out the oranges, grapefruit and floral hops. The malt also picks up a bit with bready and very slightly caramelized hints, it doesnt upset the hops much. Apricot, pine and herbal hints.
MF- Medium body with a frothy consistency. High level of carbonation and a slightly bitter finish.
Solid IPA that is fairly balanced with citrus and floral hops playing well with bready grains.
