Poured into a tulip glass from the tap at Positive Pies in Plainfield. Pours rich golden yellow with one finger worth of steady foamy head; nice lacing. Tastes of sweet citrus - orange and mango - with sticky bitterness. Very good.

16 oz. can packaged on 12/03/19.
Moderate pour yields a one inch slightly off white head over a very hazy, golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of all orange, all the time. As it warms, a bit of mango aroma is perceived. Taste mirrors nose fairly well with a finish of slight orange pith bitterness. Good feel and overall, a pretty well balanced flavor profile with no bumps in the road and I'd certainly have again. Cheers!!!

L-The beer pours a hazy yellow with 2 fingers of irregular white bubbles topping it off. The head recedes to a thin film with spotty lacing.
S-On the nose there is orange and pineapple of moderate intensity.
T- There is a touch of the sweet fruit in the nose on the palate. Mid palate the beer transitions to a more pithy aspect which lingers to the end of the sip. The beer is lightly bitter.
F-Mouthfeel overall is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is light. The pithy bitterness leaves the beer finishing lightly dry.
O- It's drinkable if not memorable. Mouthfeel is a little lighter than I would prefer. It's worth a shot for tickers, but probably not going to garner a lot of repeat purchases given the saturated IPA market in Vermont.

Pours nice, good amount of foam with a good orange/amber color. Smells amazing, really good mix of hops and citrus. Don't know if it was a problem with my can but it had a weird feel going down, it wasn't smooth but it wasn't rough either. Somewhere in between. GratefulBeerGuy mentioned an "earthy dry bite", which is what I believe to be my culprit here.
Taste was good though, nice mix of both citrus and hops. Made up for that bite mentioned earlier. ABV isn't too high, which is nice.
Locals around the area were hyping it up pretty highly when I was in the area, and it was pretty good but overall not something I'd make the drive up there again for. Definitely better beers that I tried up there.

"It's a boy"
Opaque white haze within the gold and orange coloration. A fine, fizzy white foam cap is formed and then it fades to minimal, sparse coverage.
The hop heavy aroma leads in with: star fruit, cucumber, boozy pineapple, kiwi and chunks of mango. The light malt seems to add some creamy grains, dry Earth and stale watery notes.
The feel has a light, sharp and crisp earthy grains style bite. Light and approachable, until the citric hop bite pucker-face happens. Sharp and bitter, earthy dry bite clings on for a bit.
The flavor for me, is mostly golden earthy field grains and mild citrus- forward hop bomb tendencies. Dry tropical fruits(minus any real sweetness) and resiny, pithy.. very pithy. A dry and slightly bitter hop taste finishes it out. Not complex, but certainly narrowly focused and true to style.
Overall, I look for any little aspect that might be unique or interesting, and I feel like Leo is about as standard as it gets for the style.
