Wasn't exactly sure if it was a New England styled one or an American styled one, I ended up pouring into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-muddy orange color with a thin cap of a white foamy head. Just left some wispy concave lace roaming here and there.
The aroma had some subtle danky onion bunching up in the middle on some grassy to piney , creating some juicy to bitter character.
The flavor leaned mostly the same way - substantial danky sweet onion with some bitter piney-ness and grassy hops. Ample amount of danky grassiness and onion with a light dose of pine in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it due to some bitterness strolling through on some stickiness on my tongue. Some dryness but quaint. BItter to semi-juicy and piney finish.
Overall, nice enough AIPA with some murkiness that could be construed as an New England styled one but most likely because of the semi-long bitterness in the finish.
