I wanted to love this, but to me, the 8.5% abv completely overtakes the moderate peanut butter and rich chocolate flavors with a strong blast of booze. Up the peanut butter, then dial down the booze, and this could be really good, at least much more approachable than this can was.

Revamped version of what Dave and Josh created, bottom of the can stamped 12/30/19.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a pure black color with a tan foamy head softly dissipating and barely leaving any lace.
The aroma had some peanut butter dry sweetness roaming into subtle sweet and roasty dark and milk chocolate layers. Cocoa nibs stealthily mix it all up with subtle coffee sweet tones.
The flavor yields initially to the sweet powdery dry peanuty side. Some coffee sweetness with dark chocolate, cocoa powder and sticky milk chocolate sugar collides into each other. Mild aftertaste of dark toast, dark chocolate, and cocoa powder.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Some dryness shows a bit of semi-distracting force on my tongue. But smooth enough and causing a very nicely done finish of dark chocolate, peanut butter powder and cocoa nibs.
Overall, I like this revamped version of the original. Great job Dave and Josh! Great for this time of year.
