Moderate, larger-bubbled head that settles quickly to the rim. It does leave a smattering of spots on the glass. The liquid nearly clear and has a darker, dirty gold color.
There's a distinct sourness to the smell I wasn't expecting. While it's not too strong, it does make it nearly impossible to pickup the malt or the hop.
Smooth start with a richer body and a decent light toastiness from the malt. There's a SweetTart flavor that comes in--a bit like a fruit punch with plenty of lemon in it. I don't get any hop bitterness. This is an interesting beer that might belong better in the sour category. Initially, I thought this had some gin or juniperberries affecting the beer, but the can notes this was aged in tequila barrels.
