Pours an opaque black forming a thick brown lacy head. The aroma is sweet, malty, caramel. The flavor is very sweet up front, then bitter, then finishes with the flavor of dark roasted malts, and at 11.6 abv it’s amazing that I don’t get any alcohol flavor. I love this style of beer, and this is a good one. My only criticism would be that it’s a bit sweet.
