Pours a more brown liquid than black. Beige head, 1/3". Aroma does pop on the mint and chocolate tip.
Taste was a sweeter full on adjunct laden stout. No big deal. Its one of the smaller ones, its not a dry stout, it has less malt than your average stout for sure. What made this a stout and the mounds one a porter, I dunno, because it seems like the same base beer that isn't thick. We're talking less than 6% stout territory. They aren't heavily hopped either. Its just a minimal roasted malt thing to keep the sugary candy bars in balance territory.
It wasn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination. I think to improve the beer, a stronger base, thicker mouthfeel might be in order to get it into Perennial Mint Stout territory.
