A: The beer is dark brown in color; when held up to a bright light traces of brownish red are visible near the corners of the glass. It poured with a finger high beige colored head that died down a bit but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of lightly roasted malts are present in the nose along with notes of nutty malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of nutty malts are a touch stronger, but are still second to the flavors of lightly roasted malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The roastiness lends a bit of dryness to the finish.
O: This beer is a little drier and roastier compared to other beers in the style.
