Another pour courtesy of BeerNV. So nice, best selection of Nevada beers in the state methinks.

I've now had this 2-3 times, and I swear, the consistency of the appearance, is well, not consistent. Yellow, dark gold, amber. Wild. Thankfully all three colors seem to at least look good despite the variation. Anyhoo, obvious hop aroma, but its slightly muddled, no specific variety jumps out. Some of that equal mixture of citrus flesh and rind, so, I'd guess C hops, Citra, Cascade, Centennial etc. . .

The taste is much the same way, albeit most pours seemed maltier than your average ipa in 2023-24. Going for balance perhaps. Perhaps a hit of crystal malt and slightly more bittering hop than aroma. Bittering starts to evolve from rind to pine. Still both feet firmly planted in C hop territory. Who knows, maybe Simcoe at play.

Doesn't differ too much from some of the C hops I've grown and used with other homebrewers in fresh hop ales. Neutral yeast it seems. Mouthfeel hits the abv right on the nose. Good morning America how are ya?

Full disclosure, this small, up and coming brewery breaking into retail distribution, is practically in my back yard so I have a soft spot for them.

Pours yellow, slightly hazy, weak-ish head slight lacing, aroma nice citrusy, flavor matches, full of flavor, nicely balanced, nothing overpowering, I could easily enjoy a few of these.

Can of unknown age (though likely fairly fresh based on the establishment of purchase) into a tulip glass.

L: Dirty copper with 2+ fingers of eggshell white pillowy head with great retention and left substantial ringed/streaked lacing.

S: No wow factor here, herbal and grassy, pine hiding underneath. Some citrus as it warms.

T: More dynamic than the nose (which isn't saying much) and tracks the aroma profile well. Finishes with moderate bitterness that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

F: Low-medium bodied with mild carbonation, slick on the tongue, crisp ending.

O: Drinks very light for nearly 7% ABV, but incredibly forgettable. Nothing really stands out, but there's little deterrents also. Maybe this is older than I thought, but if this was my flagship IPA, I'd be trying to find something with more pop. Worth noting that's its listed on their website as a "Gluten Reduced" beer.
