Had this on tap at BeerNV over the summer, had some time between grocery shopping and kid picking up from school. Just added the beer to the database, also gonna do a review because I'm not a total sociopath.
Pours more of an amber color for a "golden" stout. 1/4" white head. The aroma has coffee and a cookie dough like presence. I'd say more coffee on this one, less sugar cookie would be an improvement.
Taste comes out a little better relying less on the sweetness and bringing a little more of the coffee. Gave it that bitter feels like beer still feel better than the nose. The mouth feel is nice, despite being almost 8% this drinks easy and relatively light. Nailed the carbonation on tap. I've often been pretty meh on Lead Dog (this is a collaboration with them) in the realm of adjunct drops into stouts, but this one was enjoyable even though being far from life altering. I'd prolly pick up a can if they packaged it.
