Just added this beer to this Next Glass owned database. Also doing a review because hero/need.
Had this at Pinon before the Styx/REO Speedwagon show. Was probably right about the time of the story of tolls don't pay themselves. The amazing consequence of action.
Pours a hazy but dull light orange. 1/3" white head. The aroma smacked of Citra and El Dorado. I have no idea what the hop bill was, but I got a decent amount of orange and pineapple out of it, so we'll go with those guesses.
The taste was much the same, both taste and mouthfeel were impressive for a 9.8% beer that wasn't too boozy. Was feeling it at the concert though. Had that hazy ipa body that was halfway in, halfway out, enough bitterness that it wasn't trubby smooth, but not so much that it ventured into west coast ipa territory. Don't let me down. Shoe Tree and Lead Dog really like Citra, seems it went the hardest here. I'd check out some cans of this, Charlotte always like the kitty stickers. Decent play by Shoe Tree here.
