OK OK, settle down, yes we will write you the first ever review of this beer on this Next Glass owned website. Jeez, I was the first to add it to this database, but lemme get my feet under me here and write a review too as I wait for this pot luck to kick off.
Pours golden but a little cloudy within the realm of traditional gose. Thin 1/3" white head. Impressions of salty grapefruit and orange in the nose. Its all nuanced as was the style in those days (no onion belt required).
The taste continues in the same vein, light citrus influence, light salinity, light barley. Mouthfeel stays light and lively despite taste appropriately going in some different directions. Its nice to have these around, it seems the majority these days are hybrid fruited wild ale gose berliners ya know what I mean? Its solidly reliable and a welcome change of pace to my usual lager/ipa majority domination when running through some tap lines. Perhaps welcome 365 days a year, why not in a snowstorm?
