Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow-hued body with no more than a slim, brief, white head.
Smell: Lightly doughy, grainy maltiness. A mighty thin shaving of lemon peel, a lightly winy hint and morsel of apple.
Taste: As with the nose, it's got a slight graininess and doughy character with a modest degree of sweetness. Hop character is and remains pretty low throughout the flavor, just a hint of lemon and faint herb. Sliver of store-bought apple on the lightly winy, dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not bad; it's a subtler Kölsch.
