Appearance - Pours a murky chocolate brown with a finger of creamy tan head.
Smell - pumpkin, pumpkin spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove), vanilla, earthy hops, coffee bean, roasted malts, oaty aromas, and earthy yeast.
Taste - Up first are the coffee bean and pumpkin flavours, followed up by the warm pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon stick, clove, nutmeg). The earthy hops, vanilla, coffee bean, and roasted malts follow suit. The oaty aromas and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium to full bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes silky smooth and creamy with the pumpkin and coffee bean lingering.
Overall - A warm, spiced pumpkin/coffee stout that feels like a hug. Smooth, comforting, and flavourful.
