SOME LIKE IT HOT!
Brewed with 50% wheat, this hazy German style beer is nicely balanced with a medium-light body & grainy sweet character. Notes of banana, clove, citrus & a touch of heat from the addition of fresh Ghost Peppers. Smooth, refreshing & PACKING HEAT!

Poured from a howler purchased at Collective and compared to a can.
Appearance - Pours a hazy amber with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, banana, clove, citrus peel, bubblegum aromas, grainy and bready malts, hint of caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The banana, clove, citrus peel, and bubblegum aromas come though next. The grainy and bready malts as well as the hint of caramel alongside a nice spicy kick from the pepper come through next. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and spicy from the peppers.
Overall - A nice twist on the traditional hefe by adding ghost peppers to the brew. You don't smell it but once you taste it, the traditional hefe elements come through but is cascaded by the spiciness from the peppers. Well done Railyard on making a unique twist to the hefeweizen style of beer.
