Pours a dark orange with an opaque translucency. Head is two fingers of fluffy white foam. Aroma is tangerine, herbal, orange zest, and grapefruit with a faint raw grain note towards the finish. It's a pretty short aroma, despite the higher ABV (8%). Some hop burn at the back, particularly when served cold. Flavor profile is tangerine, guava, grapefruit, orange, and silty oat and faint raw grain. It's got presence, but part of that is due to the oats. While these add heartiness overall, it pulls some focus away from the hops. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a hearty silty texture. Overall, it carries some weight, despite having an abbreviated nose.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.
