Copenhagen 7/9 2019. 33 cl bottle from Vinbørsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh Ø. As "Qajaq Angitikulooq". A Ram head on the label. Tells a long story of using the ancient water glacial waters and not using imported stuff. The version I am drinking only holds an ABV of 7,0.
Pours almost clear, dark amber with a small off-white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam almost covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma has a strong sweetness with a spicy twist and a touch of metallic alcohol. Sweet caramel, a touch of brown sugar. Lightly roasted malts.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by a very moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers shortly. Finish is thin.
Quite on the sweet and malty side which is to be expected for the style. But also a bit thin.
