canned 10/03/19 (gotta remember month and day are opposite in Canada)
Pours a large foamy frothy 1+ finger head with good retention and a bit of lacing, crystal clear orange slight auburn amber hue
Nose grainy sweet malts with some toasty rich bready Munich-like malts, hints at caramel but not quite there, a rich bready grainy toasty malt, very light background herbal hop
Taste mild sweet caramel malts, more rich grainy toasty malts, very toasty, amber reddish Munich malt and biscuity, sweet caramel and a bit syrupy, mild hop character, a touch herbal earthy, medium-light bitterness, dry mild sticky finish, medium bitterness lingering, soft clean lager
Mouth is medium bodied, medium to higher carb, a touch syrupy
Overall not a bad beer, just gets a bit too syrupy sweet for a real Oktoberfest, other than that the malts would be nice, the hops get a little nagging bitter on the finish but decent, and a good lager
