A pale ale made with golden promise and caramalt, and hopped with First Gold and whole leaf Goldings and Willamette hops. Fermented with an english ale yeast stain and then dry hopped with more whole leaf Goldings and Willamette hops. A nice change of tone from the citrus heavy American pale’s we typically make. This english inspired pale has floral notes with herbal grassy-green tea, and a sweet malt finish.

16 fl oz pull-tab can from a 4-pack nabbed at the brewery earlier today ($14 USD/4 pack):
Nails the English yeast profile. Has pleasant malty grainy notes with a restrained hop bitterness. Grassy, earthy, even a biteen buttery. Warm clementine citrus surfaces as it warms. A biteen herbal, certainly floral, a bit spicy from the Willamette hops. Some subdued citrus.
Not a top tier English pale ale, but it's certainly a drinkable sessionable one. I can't say I'd shell out ~$4 a can for it again, but I'll enjoy working through my 4-pack.
