16oz can from Parleaux. Poured out a crystal clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of cereal, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with a mild bitterness.

$14 USD/4 pack at the brewpub. Purchased yesterday.
16 fl oz pull-tab can served cold into a dimpled mug.
"Italian Style Pilsner." Brewed with Italian Pilsner malt, Styrian Aurora hops, and Czech lager yeast.
Clean drinking with a spiciness from the hops. Floral, herbaceous, a biteen earthy. Crisp clean pilsner malt provides the beer's backbone. More hop-emphatic than most German pilsners, but I guess that's the whole argument for the distinction between German pils and "Italian" pils.
Smooth, wet, crisply carbonated, refreshing, approachable, medium-bodied.
The Aurora hop regimen coupled with the beer's heavier than usual presence on the palate make it something of an oddity, and I'm not sure I'm sold on the whole "Italian Pilsner is its own style" argument, but this is a very drinkable enjoyable beer in its own right and I'll enjoy working my way through my 4-pack. I can't say I'd buy it again at $14/64 oz, but it's nice for what it is.
