The lightly foggy yet bright bright maize to orange body has a tall off-white dense foam head that quickly settles to a sparse film and thick collar leaving coral lacing all over.

This is more old world and solidly in the sort of saison spectrum than I expected or often find at small breweries, which I thoroughly appreciate. It eschews the unwanted clove and coriander notes found elsewhere, instead bringing classic hints of horse blanket and pungent hay with brighter notes of green, passion fruit-like hops.

The tingly, bouncy medium body finishes semi-dry and a little minty. At times it almost seems to have a wine barrel presence, while overall semi-bitter and not at all tart, yet leaning towards it in the flavor profile.
