Acorn red with a moderately tall khaki head condensing to a creamy blanket that lightly clings at the collar leaving some peaky lacing.
This clean märzen is lightly nutty and herbal while accented by hints of amaretto. At the same time, it almost exhibits a little smoke in the toasty roast, conjuring ghosts of Schlenkerla at first sip, but I no longer detect it thereafter.
The medium body has a pleasantly tingling froth before coming to a semi-dry, lightly chewy finish.
